Ryan 

Ryan Daniels, a junior from Harlem, is a member of Show Choir. While he still loves music, his new interest is his Drawing Studio class. At DHHS he plays lacrosse and last year received his varsity letter for wrestling. When not studying, singing, or wrestling, he can be found on the basketball court at the Roby House.

 

 


Mahir  
 
Mahir Sheikh, a sophomore from the Bronx, is very proud of his past summer’s work as a volunteer at a homeless shelter in Manhattan where he worked mostly with children. At DHHS he plays volleyball and basketball and is a member of the Interact Club. He is also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. 
 
 


 David 

  

Senior David Lee hails from the Bronx. At DHHS he demonstrates his musical talent playing the flute in the DHHS Marching Band and the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra. He also sings with the Waes Haeil Madrigals. Along with seniors Richie and Hector, David is a consistent Honor Roll scholar.

  Hector 

Hector Henriquez, a senior from East Harlem, is very involved with music; he drums in the DHHS Marching Band, is a member of Waes Haeil and performs with the Show Choir. He is also active in the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra. He spent his summer in the Dominican Republic which inspired him to start a new Spanish Dance Club at DHHS.


 Richie

 

Richie Ortiz, a senior from Harlem, plays drums in the DHHS Marching Band and in the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra. This summer he devoted much of his time to playing lacrosse. When not concentrating on his schoolwork or playing lacrosse, he is working hard on his college applications.

 

 

 


Asa

Asa Palmer, is an incoming freshman from the Bronx. His favorite subjects are math and science. He is playing football this season and hopes to be part of both the basketball and baseball teams at DHHS this year. To relax he listens to music and expects to make good use of the basketball court at the house.
